Littleton is a suburb of Denver located just 9 miles south of downtown Denver and is conveniently accessible by the RTD Light Rail C and D lines.
At the center of Littleton is Historic Downtown Littleton, where historic architecture and outdoor atmosphere offers residents a rich diversity of 12 restaurants and breweries, wellness shops, galleries, and service businesses.
Littleton’s popular outdoor venue and park is Hudson Gardens. Fall and winter events include a dazzling display of Christmas lights, drum circles, and Halloween yoga. Spring and summer events include yoga classes, summer concerts, a rose garden, a water lily pond, and an herb and vegetable garden.
There are abundant parks and hiking trails in Littleton, with over 1,500 acres of parks and open space, 35 miles of biking paths as well as trails such as Highline Canal or Lee Gulch trail, and a bike trail which takes riders all the way to downtown Denver.
Annual events include an annual Mardi Gras celebration, a Main Street Block Party in June, the Zombie Crawl and Pig Roast in October, a candlelight walk at the start of the holidays in November, the Western Welcome Week that happens in August, and a 10-day street fair which is designed to highlight various non-profit organizations in Denver.
